Back to Basics for A Better Delta

"People rely on city hall to deliver on the basics. That means investing in safe communities, reliable roads, and quality parks and recreation services. We need to be laser-focused on getting the basics right so we're building a better Delta for the next generation of families."
- Dylan Kruger

Our Achievements Together

Building Strong Communities

  • Making Delta a fun city with pop-up parks, hosting marquee events to celebrate our community, and responsible drinking initiatives so that we're treating adults like adults
  • Built new tracks at Delta Secondary and North Delta Secondary Schools, with an additional track at Seaquam High School scheduled for 2025
  • Countless improvements to Mackie Turf Field, Cromie Park, Annieville Park, and new Winskill Aquatic Centre
  • Expanding 72 Ave so that you can get to where you need to be, faster.

Supporting Small Business

  • Delivered common sense changes to allow outdoor patios to support our local restaurants
  • Cutting outdated red-tape that put barriers for our local businesses
  • Working to revitalize the Ladner Village waterfront to protect our heritage, and keep small businesses strong.

Accountability and Transparency

  • Delivered the most transparent, accountable, and open budget consultation process in Delta history
  • New measures to make sure we're spending money on getting results for you, rather than vanity events for insiders
  • Took steps to make sure that council can function in the best interest of Delta residents by requiring greater transparency and collaboration on critical decisions, including how taxpayer money is spent
